Health of the driver is crucial for the driving performances. Researches show that commercial drivers have more tendencies to develop Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). This happens for their day time sleeping routines and working in the night time. The body does not get proper rest and there are chances to develop other health issues as well for example blood pressure, fatigue, irritability and mood swings. The contractors must understand this adverse relationship between hours of driving, hours on duty and periods of rest to ensure wellness of their employees.
